One month in Contract Law

It is hard to believe that we are already into four weeks of the LLB programme.
21st September marked the first day of LLB classes at CLLB, which Barrister Ibrahim Afridi taking the lead. For the first semester, we are teaching four course modules.

Contract Law is being led by Barrister Ibrahim Afridi. Contract law is revolves around when two people or companies enter into an enforceable contract. You can learn about the discussion that takes place when an offer is made and accepted. Students look into contract issues such as consideration, whether a minor can enter into contract, what term of a contract is unfair and hence not enforceable and what the exclusion process is. More importantly, it deals with what happens if a contract is not abided by the parties.

Ibrahim is very pleased with the progress so far. “The first month has been very positive with regard to the response from the students. The reason for this is the fact that the students I have in my class have a certain attitude and a reason for actually studying the course. They know how important it is to have the education and this opportunity that they have before them. So in that regard, it has been easy to connect with them and also be able to convey the very message that this is an opportunity that they have to avail and not let go.”

Having students who are eager to learn is a joy for all teachers. Ibrahim hopes that the coming months continue in the same way, and we all create an environment where you can learn and understand at a better pace and capacity.
