A MOU signing ceremony for Forensic Law courses took place at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar, in the presence of Minister Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Honourable Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra, Vice Chancellor KMU Honourable Professor Dr. Zia Ul Haq and Executive Director CLLB.
A year-long effort of various experts from health and legal sides contributed in designing the course from approved curriculum of both medicine and law subjects.
In this cross-disciplinary course, law and medical students will learn the fundamentals of medico-legal issues. The duration of the course will be six months for students.
A short duration course of one week for practitioners such as but not limited to lawyers, prosecution officials, journalists, and medical officers will also be offered.
