One month in criminal law!

In one of the most popular modules in law, we peak into the Criminal Law classroom.
Criminal law deals with the punishment of acts that are against the body of rules and statutes that define conduct that is prohibited by the government. This includes anything that threatens or harms public safety and welfare.
Amir Ullah Chamkani is the Lead Module for this course, while Rokhan N. Shafi is the co-lead. Here is what Rokhan has to say about the how the students are taking it so far.
“Classes for criminal law are going really well. The students think that it is properly the most interesting subject.” We will be confirming that in an upcoming blog, Rokhan…
What is different about this course, as Rokhan explained, is that we have been trying our best to link the theory of criminal law to the practicality of it. We have been trying to give them scenarios and then explaining whatever the principles of criminal law are.
Because of the format, and the way the course is taught, with lectures and then with seminars, it is really helping in gauging the student’s concept and to what extent their concepts are clearly in line with their academics.
“This system is very helpful because once lectures are conducted, and after seminars with MCQ’s, short answer questions and discussions, you really get to know the true student response and to what extent their concepts are clear,” our Co-lead Module shared.
