Design Your Career

Design Your Career (DYC) is a career planning module for high schoolers to gain personal and career awareness through design tools. It is designed with learnings from d.school (Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University) and works of Bill Burnett and Dave Evans.

Students wear hats of life designers to reflect and design prototypes for challenges in studies, life, exams and career.

– reflect on work-view, life-view and values
– journal to identify energising, engaging and FLOW activities
– practice ideation techniques
– write 5-year Odyssey plans
– Prototype solutions
